Art is a critical pillar of our ecosystem of women’s development projects to empower and unite women from all corners of the globe. In each case, they have met two of the following three criteria that lead to long-term appreciation of value in the art market: (1) they are academically trained from a leading institution, (2) they have representation from an established gallery, and/or (3) they have been acquired by leading collections. FATIME ZAHRA EL MORJANI Fatime Zahra El Morjani (b. 1971, Casablanca, Morocco) originally trained as an architect and now embraces visual art. She currently resides in Morocco after living for periods of time in Poland and Ethiopia. Relying on monochromatic palettes, Fatime Zahra explores a ‘rapprochement’ r colors and geometric forms betray her between ‘here’ and ‘elsewhere’. He architectural underpinnings. She draws inspiration from her emotional memory. Fatime Zahra had her first exhibition in Poland and has now shown in numerous other locations of Europe and North Africa.

MOATAZ NASR Moataz Nasr (b. 1961, Alexandria, Egypt) studied at the University of Alexandria. Moataz focuses on painting, sculpture and multimedia modes of expression. He uses those to explore traditions and new globalism, questioning geopolitical and social development in Africa. has exhibited throughout North Moataz shows with Galleria Continua in Italy. SAFAA ERRUAS Safaa Erruas (b. 1976 , Morocco) graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts in Tetouan, Morocco in 1998. Safaa’s work is described as representing the complexity and permanent tension between sensation, perception and experience. Her materials comprise sewing needles, razor blades, gauze strips, metallic thread, cotton and paper. Since 1996 Safaa has been exhibiting regularly in France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Norway, Algeria, India and the United States. She also participated in the Dak’Art Biennial in 2002 and 2006, and the 25th Alexandria Biennial for Mediterranean countries in 2009.

EMMANUEL NKURANGA Emmanuel Nkuranga (b. 1987, Mityana,Uganda) is a self-taught artist who re-located to his native Rwanda. Emmanuel is a mixed-media expressionist whose practice relies upon deploying multiple color schematics on the same base of expression - be it a piano, a car or a canvas. is a part of several private and Emmanuel has exhibited throughout the world and corporate collections. AMARACHI OKAFOR Amarachi Okafor (b. 1977, Nigeria) was born in Umuahia, Nigeria and studied at the University of Nigeria. Amarachi focuses on culture, religion, history, gender relations and human sexuality in her work. She focuses on painting and sculpture. Amarachi is the recipient of a UNESCO-Aschberg residency.
